Arian Jacobs - Filmmaker

Arian is a Peruvian born, Canadian independent filmmaker with years of experience film direction and prodution. Graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2020 with a Bachelors in Media Arts with a major in Film and Screen Arts. Has experience working in a small Peruvian production company, Sirius Films, creating online content for multiple clients working in a high paced enviroment as videographer, editor and colorist. He co-directed, co-produced, co-edited a short documentary called Lima: Chaos Theory. As well as directing, producing, editing and sound design the short film Remembrances of Beauty Lost.


In canada he has worked on several exhibition projects including; as colorist, Wild Emapthy in Science World in Vancouver Canada and Tansy Point in the Portland Art Museum; and technical artist in the 360 Riot Walk, a 360 walking tour of chinatown recounting the 1907 anti-asian riots.
